Syria, China discuss coordination to combat coronavirus

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Prime Minister Imad Khamis and the Chinese Ambassador to Syria Feng Biao have discussed the great efforts exerted by China to put an end to coronavirus outbreak as well the methods of enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two countries in confronting novel virus and preventing its spread in Syria.

During  a meeting on Saturday, the two sides discussed the Chinese experience in confronting coronavirus and necessary measures to avoid any infections in Syria.

 Khamis and the Chinese diplomat agreed on reactivating the Syrian-Chinese Joint Committee and Businessmen Council in order to enhance economic and investment cooperation, reactivate trade exchange and serve the joint interests of the two countries.
