Syria children send letter of protest to UN over terror rocket attacks on Aleppo schools

A group of children from the Baath Vanguards Organization (BVO) handed Tuesday a letter of protest to UNICEF’s Resident Representative in Syria over terrorist organizations’ rocket attacks on schools in Aleppo city.

The letter called on international organizations to implement the UN resolutions related to counterterrorism , according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified that the children said in the letter: ” We want to go to our school without fear of car bomb. We want to play without being hit by mortars an explosive devices. We want to live in peace.”

It added that the children appealed for stopping terrorism and stopping the finance of mercenaries, who are targeting schools and cities.

“The blood of our classmates , who have been martyred in several Syrian cities, is the beacon of the victory to be achieved soon over forces of terror,” the children said, stressing that they send a message of amity to the whole world.

The letter, handed to the Resident Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria Hanaa Senjar and the media advisor of the resident representative of the United Nations development Program (UNDP) Dr. Khalid al-Masri, will be sent to the United Nations’ Secretary General .

Since 2011, Syria has faced a foreign-backed terror war targeting its army, people, civilizations and infrastructures.

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the US, Britain, France , Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations in Syria in accordance with the US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
