Syria calls for adopting immediate measures against Israel

Syria called for adopting immediate measures towards the Israeli occupation entity to stop its constant crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and the Syrian people in the occupied Golan.

“Israel’s policy of setting up and expanding settlements in occupied Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan’ and its illegitimate annexation of lands are dangerous violations that should be stopped,” Syrian Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Hussam al-Din ala said in an interposition within the agenda of the 44th session of Human Rights council.

He added that Syria supports the recommendations of the special rapporteur and calls for the Israeli occupation’s retreat from its racial practices and the policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people.

Ala referred to the key role of the Human Rights council in observing and documenting Israeli violations.
