DAMASCUS, Feb.10, (ST)-The possibility of opening channels of communication with the Federations of Brazilian Chambers in a step that would help boost economic relations and trade exchange between Syria and Brazil was the main topic that was reviewed by the members of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its countryside and the Brazilian Ambassador to Syria Fabio Vaz Pitaluga.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the members of the Chamber of Industry briefed the Ambassador on the new Investment Law No. 18 for 2021, and the efforts exerted to reactivate the Syrian-Brazilian Business Council, asserting the need to exchange regulations for holding specialized exhibitions in the two countries.
For his part, the Brazilian Ambassador said that the Syrian community in his country is “large and enjoys prominent economic attendance,” hoping that the volume of investment between the two countries could be increased.
