Syria-Brazil Discuss  Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Industry Field

Damascus (ST) – The Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabash, discussed with the  Brazilian ambassador to Damascus, Andre Santos, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the health field.

Minister Al-Ghabash indicated the importance of cooperation in the pharmaceutical industries field in which Brazil is so advanced. He stressed the Ministry’s interest in conducting training courses for health cadres, transferring technology in the pharmaceutical industry, and exchanging experiences.

Ambassador Santos pointed out that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of coordination in the medicines field including exports and pharmaceutical research, especially that Brazil has several centers and facilities specialized in this domain.
