MINSK, (ST)_ Syria, and Belarus discussed on Wednesday the ways of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation to face the Western coercive measures.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the discussion was held during a meeting between Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister, Nikolai Barisevich and Syrian Ambassador in Minsk Muhammad al-Omrani.
The meeting dealt with the common challenges facing the two countries and their solidarity in confronting them.
The both sides stressed the need to continue cooperation at international level to address the unfair coercive measures being imposed by Western countries.
They referred to the necessity of exerting all possible efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the two friendly countries at various fields through the meetings of the Syrian-Belarusian Joint Committee for Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation.
