Syria beats UAE 1-0

Jakarta – Syria’s Olympic Football Team won 1-0 against his UAE counterpart within the first round of the Group C competitions at the Asian Games in Indonesia.

Barakat scored the only goal in the match which was held at the Jalak Harupat Stadium in Indonesian city of Soreang.

Group C includes also teams of China and East Timor.

The Syrian team will meet his Chinese counterpart on Thursday and will also meet East Timor on August 20.
