Syria beats the Maldives 4-0 in qualifiers of FIFA World Cup 2022

The Syrian National Football Team beat its Maldivian counterpart 4-0 in a match held on Friday at the Sharjah Stadium within the Qatar  FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

The result has guaranteed the Syrian team’s qualification for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and the decisive round of 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Syrian footballer Mahmoud Al-Mawwas scored three goals, while the fourth goal was scored by Ayyaz Othman.
