Syria, Azerbaijan review ways to boost cooperation in energy

ISTANBUL, MAY.3, (ST)-Energy Minister Mohammad Al-Bashir has discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Parviz Shahbazov, ways to boost bilateral cooperation in the energy sector on the sidelines of the Istanbul Natural Resources Summit.

According to the Ministry of Energy’s Telegram channel, the meeting focused on gas supplies, renewable energy, exchange of expertise, and investment in energy infrastructure projects.

The two sides also discussed regional and international developments in the energy sector and the importance of coordinating stances in international forums.

They emphasized the importance of relations between the two countries and expanding areas of cooperation.
