Syria and Russia confirm that the regaining of Syrian state’s control over its entire territory is the guarantee to remove the camps of the displaced
Syria and Russia reaffirmed that the United States has has been obstructing the return of Syrian refugees to their liberated areas from terrorism in an attempt to justify the presence of its illegal forces in Syria and seize the oil wealth in it.
In a joint statement today, the Syrian and Russian coordinating commissions on the return of the displaced Syrians, confirmed the incessant work for the return of the displaced to their liberated areas from terrorism, stressed that the regaining of the Syrian state’s control over its entire territory is the guarantee to remove the camps of the displaced.
The statement pointed to the growing interest of the displaced to return in parallel with the great efforts of the Syrian government to restore public facilities and infrastructure in the country, where thousands of residential buildings, medical and educational facilities and other service facilities have been repaired since the beginning of this year, in addition to dozens of large industrial institutions that have started operating in different regions of the country.
“Despite the Syrian state’s great efforts to restore normal life in Syria, which was recognized by the United Nations institutions, the United States and its allies continue to mislead the international community on these matters to justify the illegal presence of its forces in Syria for the longest possible period and to continue to seize the Syrian oil wealth”, the statement added.
Due to the American destructive stance, the problem of the Rukban camp, in the Al-Tanf area, continues as detainees cannot leave the camp and return to their homes, the statement pointed out, adding that Washington continues to claim the need for additional humanitarian convoys to the camp in order to feed the terrorists loyal to it who commit atrocities against civilians in the camp and who are forcibly holding them as hostages.
In a related context, the statement pointed out that the situation is still critical in Al-Holl camp in Hasaka governor ate where tens of thousands live in tragic conditions, as they lack the simplest conditions for a healthy life, calling on the major Western countries to pay attention to the suffering of the Syrians who were obliged to be displaced to the aforementioned camps and to change their positions and take effective measures to solve it and return the refugees to their homes.
