Syria and Iran enhance cooperation in the field of scientific research

Tehran,(ST)  – Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Dr. Shafiq Dayoub discussed with Dr. Hussein Salar Ameli, Assistant Minister of Science, Research and Technology and Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, cooperation in the field of scientific research and the importance of developing and  enhancing it between the two countries.

During a meeting between the two parties, Ambassador Dayoub indicated the necessity and importance of establishing research centers and launching joint scientific training courses between the universities of the two countries to enhance the educational sector and scientific research.

 

Ambassador Dayoub noted the memorandum of scientific understanding between the two sides that is being prepared and its role in promoting scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

Salar Ameli stressed the importance of joint scientific and technological cooperation and referred to the scientific memorandum of understanding (MoU) that is being prepared for signing between the two sides in Tehran in the first half of next June.
