Syria and Cuba stress the need to strengthen economic relations between them
On December 8th, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmerca, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Havana, Dr. Idris Maya, ways to enhance economic relations between the two countries and the opportunities available for their development, especially in the field of trade exchange.
During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment in the capital, Havana, the two sides stressed the need to advance the level of the two countries’ economic relations and raise them to the level of distinguished political relations.
The meeting was attended on the Cuban side by Deborah Riva, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, and from the embassy, diplomatic attache Ali Hassan Abbas.
