Syria-Algeria Parliamentary cooperation dominates al-Lahham and Bensaleh’s meeting

ALGIERS,(ST)_The talks between Speaker of Syrian People’s Assembly [Parliament] and Head of the Algerian Council of Nation [Majliseloumma] have zeroed in on parliamentary coordination between the two states in international meetings to serve the Arab nation’s interests.

According to media sources, Mohammad Jihad al-Lahham and Abdulqader Bensaleh reviewed today means of booting bilateral cooperation between Syria and Algeria and the latest developments in Syria.

Yesterday, Speaker of Algeria’s National Popular Council Mohammad al-Arabi Wild Khalifa stressed- during a meeting with al-Lahham- that terrorism has become the common enemy of all peoples.

Al-Lahham arrived yesterday in Algiers on a four-day visit during which he will hold talks with Algerian officials on bilateral ties.

Upon his arrival in Algiers, the Syrian official told journalists: ““Syria is proud of the brotherly Algerian people who achieved victory over colonialism and offered convoys of martyrs to achieve independence and build national state.”

He highly appreciated Algeria’s sincere stances towards Syria in confronting terrorist war being waged on it.
