Syria, Algeria hold talks on enhancing cooperation in oil and gas sectors

DOHA, Dec.12, (ST)- Possible cooperation and investment opportunities between Syria and Algeria in the oil and gas sector were discussed during the meeting held on Tuesday between the Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Firas Qaddour, and Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arqab.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 12th Arab Energy Conference being held in Doha.

The two parties asserted the determination of both countries to enhance their cooperation in many fields of common interest, and expressed confidence in the possibility of creating cooperation opportunities, and developing joint projects based on benefiting from the experiences of  the concerned companies in the two countries.
