Syria affirms the Syrian Arab identity of occupied Golan

Damascus, (ST) – Syria condemns the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister and affirms that; the Golan was and will remain Arab and Syrian.

Syria condemned, in the strongest terms, the statements of the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation entity regarding increasing the number of Zionist settlers in the occupied Syrian Golan.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA that, these statements reaffirm the aggressive expansionist nature of the usurping Zionist entity and its flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions regarding the legal status of the Syrian Golan as an occupied land.

The source added that such aggressive statements and policies will not be able to change the eternal truth that the Golan was and will remain Arab and Syrian. “The Occupied Golan will inevitably return to the motherland, and all measures adopted by the Israeli occupation authorities are null and void and have no legal effect”, the source added.

The source concluded by saying that, the Syrian Arab people and their valiant army, which defeated the terrorist groups, the tools of the occupation entity, are more determined to liberate the Syrian Arab Golan land from the occupation. They will foil all plots and aggressive intentions of the Israeli settlement expansionist occupation entity.

It concluded by saying that the Syrian Arab people and their heroic army which defeated the terrorist groups are more determined than ever  to liberate the Syrian Arab Golan from the occupation and thwart all plots and aggressive intentions of the Israeli occupation entity.
