Indonesia, (ST) – In a friendly match, the Syrian Olympic soccer team were held to a 1-1 draw with their Indonesian counterparts in Sourabaya.

The match is part of both teams’ preparations for World Cup qualifiers In Qatar.

The Olympic team includes: Abd al-Lateef Naasan, Ahmad Kanaan, Jihad Besmar, Bashar Abu Khashrddf, Wessam Akha, Rami Aamerr, Abd al-Mannan Ibrahim, Moeemen Naji, Wasim Nabhan, Mohammad Marmour, Hael al-Badri, Ahmad Ashkar, Mahmoud Bahe, Khaled Mobayed, Yousef Kalfa, Abdullah al-Shami and Maher Daaboul.

Syria will play in Group 4 alongside Uzbekistan, India and Bangladesh, and the winner will qualify directly to World cup qualifiers.
