Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity represent a priority for Russia, says Peskov

Moscow-(ST)- The Russian presidency affirmed that Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are an absolute priority for Russia.

The official spokesman for the Russian presidency Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday that during the meeting of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Bashar Al-Assad, the Russian-Syrian relations will be at the top the topics of discussion.

Cooperation in the context of reconstruction in Syria was also discussed, with an emphasis on the absolute priority of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, Peskov added, according to Sputnik.
