Hanoi (ST): Amid rainy weather, the Syrian men’s football team started its training yesterday at the Vietnamese Federation training stadium in the capital, Hanoi, in preparation for a friendly match against its Vietnamese counterpart next Tuesday.
Fitness coach Antonio Sari Oglu led the first part of the training, before coach Hector Cuper started the training session, which focused on some tactical issues in addition to exercises for goalkeepers, under the supervision of goalkeeper coach Essam El-Hadary.
All the players who were invited to the camp participated in the exercises, including the player Moody Najjar, who came from Australia, while the player Omar Al-Soma could not arrive due to special family circumstances.
