Syria’s Al-Thawra Basketball team defeats the Emirati Sharjah team in the Arab Women Sports Tournament

In its the first competitions within the 7th edition of the Arab Women Sports Tournament (AWST) in Sharjah, UAE, the Syrian Al-Thawra Basketball Club team on Saturday defeated the Emirati Sharjah team 78-47.

On Sunday, February 4th, the Syrian team will face the Kuwaiti Al-Fatat team in its second match in the first round and it will face the Saudi Al-Asimah team on Monday the Iraqi Gaz Al-Shamal team on Tuesday, the Jordanian Al-Fuhais team on Thursday, and the Bahraini Al-Ahly team on Friday.
