Syrian Youth Team begins its Participation in the Asian Cup Football Finales

The Syrian youth football team is participating  in the AFC U-20 championship, which will be held in Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in Group A, along with the teams of Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and Iraq.

Next Wednesday, our team will play in its first match  with the host team, Uzbekistan, while it will play its second match on next Mars 4th, against the Indonesian team, and will conclude its matches  on Mars 7th, against the Iraq national team.

The tournament system stipulates that the first and second place finishers from each group qualify for the quarter-finals, knowing that the top four teams in the tournament will qualify directly for the World Cup finals that Indonesia will host in May 2023.

The delegation of our young team includes 23 players, they are Muhammad Hassouni, Ali Hulu, Maxim Sarraf, Ali Rina, Khaled Al-Hajjah, Mahmoud Al-Nayef, Miqdad Ahmed, Ammar Alama, Muhammad Othman, Abdullah Zaqrit, Malik Janair, Amer Fayyad, Mahmoud Muhanna, Mustafa Hamo, Muhammad Asaad, Hassan Dahan, Mahmoud Al-Aswad, Zakaria Ramadan, Muhannad Fadel, Elias Safar and Anas. Hardan, Hozan Othman, and Mustafa Abdel Latif.
