Tirana, (ST) – The Syrian weightlifter Muhammad al-Kateb won sixth place in the World Youth Championship, for the U-17 category, held in Albania.
Al-Kateb participated in the 81 kg weight competition, and scored in the snatch lift 128 kg, and in the jerk lift 161 kg, with a total weight of 289 kg, which is a new Syrian record for the youth category.
