Syrian weightlifter Maan As’ad wins gold medal, breaks the Asian record in the 2024 Asian Championship in Uzbekistan

Syrian weightlifter Maan As’ad on Saturday won a gold medal in the 2024 Asian Championship currently held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, breaking the Asian record with a 250kg lift in jerk.

As’ad also won a silver medal in Snatch after lifting 192 kg and a gold medal in the total score.
