Syrian students in Egypt on Evacuation Day: Syria will remain resistant to all aggressors

Cairo, (ST) – Syrian students in Egypt affirmed that the anniversary of the evacuation of the French colonialists from Syria comes, as the Syrian people continue to confirm that Syria is resistant to all aggressors, and that they are more determined than ever to preserve its soil.

The branch of the National Union of Syrian Students indicated in a statement on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Evacuation Day that our people adhere to their principles side by side with the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army who are writing with their sacred blood and their belonging a new epic in the book of glories.

The statement reaffirmed the importance of the great achievements of Evacuation Day in preserving the homeland’s soil and defending it at all forums, stressing confidence that Syria will remain steadfast and proud in front of the terrorism of all aggressors, because it has a loyal people and a proud army that does not accept retreat.

Unified Syrian Communist Party: The evacuation is the result of the sacrifices of the Syrian people

In the same context, the Unified Syrian Communist Party affirmed that Evacuation Day is the fruit of the sacrifices of the Syrian people and the solidarity of all its political and social forces against French colonialism.

The party said in a statement on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the evacuation of the French colonizers that seventy-eight years ago, the Syrian flag rose in the Syrian sky, declaring its independence, sovereignty and the unity of its people.

The statement added that the great day of evacuation was a symbol of the struggle of the Syrian people for a free homeland and a dignified life.

The party concluded its statement by saying: “Those who faced the tanks of the French occupation, in Jabal al-Arab, Ghouta, in the mountains of the northern and the coastal regions, and in every part of Syria, are capable today, inspired by the lessons of the evacuation, to create the future for the Syrian people, and build a better Syria for all the Syrians.
