Syrian Special Olympics Foundation organizes 2nd Golan Cycling Race for people with disabilities in Quneitra 

On August 5th, the Syrian Special Olympics Foundation, in cooperation with the Quneitra Governorate, organized the second Golan Cycling Race for people with disabilities.

The race started in front of the governorate building to Tahrir Square in the liberated city of Quneitra.

The governor of Quneitra, Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran stressed the importance of holding sport events in Quneitra city as they represent a message of solidarity with the people in the occupied Syrian Golan who reject all the aggressive and arbitrary measures of the Israeli occupation.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Syrian Special Olympics Foundation Tarif Qutrash indicated that the establishment of this event in Quneitra Governorate is a message of steadfastness and victory, as it contributes to revive sports of the province and achieving the goal of the Special Olympics in integrating this category, persons with disabilities, into society.

A number of participants expressed their happiness to participate in the Golan Race on the land of Quneitra Governorate, which has a special place in the hearts of all the Syrians.
