Riyadh (ST) – On Tuesday, Head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Muhammad Abu al-Huda Al-Lahham, and his accompanying delegation met the Head of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan bin Mojib al-Huwaizi on the sidelines of their participation in the Arab-Chinese Business Conference held in Riyadh.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two sides agreed to reopen the course of economic cooperation and resume trade and investment activities and events between the two sides, in conjunction with Syria’s opening up to its Arab surroundings.
The members of the Syrian delegation expressed their appreciation over the Saudi Kingdom’s stances towards Syria and its people, noting the great development witnessed by the Kingdom and the desire of the Syrian business sector to enter the Saudi market and invest in various economic sectors.
Both sides stressed the necessity of exchanging visits of trade delegations, introducing the investors to the available investment opportunities in the Kingdom and Syria and establishing economic forums in order to push forward the path of economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Yesterday, in the Saudi capital Riyadh, the activities of the tenth session of the Arab and Chinese Businessmen Conference 2023 began under the slogan “Cooperation for Prosperity”.
