The Syrian embassy in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia, participated in the annual charity bazaar, organized by the wives of heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Brazil.
The Syrian pavilion, with its two parts pertaining to Syrian cuisine and traditional handicraft products such as orientals and embroideries, received great interest from Brazilian visitors as well as foreigners, as the number of its visitors exceeded 3,000.
The Syrian Ambassador to Brazil Rania Haj Ali stressed the importance of Syria’s participation in this bazaar, as it is an important occasion to acquaint the Brazilian people with the Syrian culture and the important aspects of the intangible heritage of Syria.
The ambassador highlighted the interest that the Syrian pavilion receives every year from the visitors of the bazaar, because of their love and great demand for Syrian cuisine and their admiration for the traditional handicrafts that reflect Syria’s richness and civilization.
In its distinguished participation during the bazaar, the Syrian Pavilion displayed musical and lyrical performances and pictures of the most important tourist and historical landmarks in Syria.
