Syrian musicians perform in the World Youth Orchestra in Russia

With the participation of Syrian musicians and within the framework of the World Youth Festival held in the Russian district of Sirius, the World Youth Orchestra, led by the Russian popular musician Yuri Bashmet, held a concert at the Winter Theater in Sochi.

The Syrian musicians Andreh Maqdisi and Dima Kheri Beik performed in the concert following several tests conducted with the aim of selecting participants in the orchestra which consists of young musicians from more than 30 countries.

Part of the orchestra was dedicated for teenagers who are under 18 of age. The two Syrian young musicians Zeinab As’ad and Taj Zahra took part in this orchestra within this category.
