Syrian-Iranian talks to secure tractors and agricultural supplies

The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Muhammad Hassan Qatana, discussed with the Vice-President of the Syrian-Iranian People’s Friendship Association, Ahmad Dastmaljian, and his accompanying delegation, cooperation in the fields of securing agricultural tractors, fertilizers, greenhouse requirements, and seeds.

During the meeting, which was held in the Ministry’s building, Minister Qatana pointed to the preferential advantages and exemptions granted by the Syrian government to friendly countries, to establish investments and supply the needs of materials, especially agricultural ones, pointing to the needs of the Syrian market to 100 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers, and a large number of agricultural tractors and greenhouse equipment.
