Syrian-Iranian talks on the need to follow up on the implementation of signed agreements

Damascus (ST) – During his meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Damascus Hussein Akbari, Prime Minister Hussein Arnous stressed the necessity of following up on the implementation of the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries.

Arnous stressed the Syrian government’s keenness to take all measures to develop bilateral cooperation, overcome the obstacles that hinder it, and open new horizons for cooperation in all fields.

The meeting dealt with enhancing cooperation in various economic fields in a way that contributes to meeting the needs of the local market for products, in cooperation between both governments and business sectors.

For his part, Akbari indicated the willingness of many Iranian companies to work in the Syrian market and provide support to vital sectors, stressing that his country will continue to provide everything that contributes to supporting the Syrian economy in the face of the siege.
