Syrian expatriates and students in France and Sweden organize solidarity stands calling for lifting the unjust siege on Syria

The branch of the National Union of Syrian Students and the Syrian Community in France organized a solidarity stand near the headquarters of the French Foreign Ministry and National Assembly in the center of Paris, calling for the lifting of unfair sanctions and unilateral coercive measures imposed by the West on Syria.

A number of French citizens and members of the Arab communities in France participated in the stand, calling for the urgent lifting of the blockade and sanctions against the Syrian people, so that they can get out of their ordeal caused by the devastating earthquake, stressing that these sanctions impede the delivery of assistance and relief aid to the affected people.

Meantime in the Swedish Capital, Stockholm, the Commission for Solidarity with Syria, as well as the Syrian community in Sweden and activists from Sweden, and Arab countries also organized a solidarity stand in support for Syria and the earthquake-affected people.

Participants called for lifting the illegal siege imposed on Syria and provide necessary assistance to the quake-affected people.
