Syrian equestrian team ranks third in Horseback Archery World Cup in Saudi Arabia

Syria’s name is once again raised at international forums as the  distinguished equestrians of the Syrian national team came in the third place in the 2023 Horseback Archery World Cup, which concluded its competitions on Monday in the city of Al-Ula, Saudi.

The equestrians  of “Al-Shourta”  Club represented the Syrian national team in a strong, fiercely competitive tournament with the teams of Canada, Indonesia, Turkey, America, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Thailand.

The Syrian  national team was represented by  equestrian Ahmed Fares, Walid Khawagkia and Shorouk Al-Masri, led by the knight Colonel Mahmoud Al-Masry.
