Syrian Equestrian Massa Adnan crowned Women’s Champion at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Endurance Festival
Dubai (ST) – The Syrian equestrian Massa Adnan, on horseback of Niz Jamila, won the title of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Endurance Festival for a distance of 101km. The competition took place on Monday in Dubai.
120 female horse riders from the Emirates and countries of the world participated in the festival, organized by Dubai Equestrian Club in cooperation and coordination with the UAE Equestrian Federation.
At the end of the race, Major General Dr. Muhammad Issa Al-Azab, Member of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Dubai Equestrian Club, and Maurice Azizi, Chairman of Azizi Real Estate Development, crowned the cup winners.
Massa is considered as one of the brightest names in the field of horse endurance and endurance racing.
She managed to achieve second place in the 160-kilometer endurance race of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, a few days ago.
She was also crowned with the Sheikha Fatima bint Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup for women’s ability for a distance of 100 km.
Massa also achieved the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival Championship for a distance of 101 km, and was crowned the champion of the Al-Yamamah race for horses for a distance of 119 km.
