Syrian-Chinese talks on enhancing cooperation in the industrial sector

Damascus (ST) – Minister of Industry, Abdul Qadir Joukhadar discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Damascus Shi Hongwei, ways to enhance cooperation in the industrial sector, especially production lines and requirements, and training human cadres in the technological field.

Minister Joukhadar stressed the importance of strengthening economic and technological cooperation relations with China, due to its great development in this field, calling for intensifying communication and meetings between the two countries.

For his part, Hongwei indicated his country’s keenness to enhance industrial cooperation and partnership with Syria in a promising manner in various sectors, especially in the reconstruction phase.
