Syrian-Chilean dialogue in Damascus

Damascus (ST) – The Chilean Embassy devoted its first intellectual dialogue sessions, which began Monday evening, to the power of the word and its impact on building civilizations, creating their distinctive identities, summarizing the cultural thought of peoples and transferring it across generations.

The Chargé d’Affairs of the Chilean Embassy in Damascus, José Patricio Brickle, stressed that this session is the first of its kind for the embassy, ​​and Damascus was chosen as a place because there is similarity in the way of thinking between the peoples of Latin America and the Syrians.

In an intervention, the Venezuelan ambassador to Damascus Jose Biomorgi said that the only way to save human, historical and religious values ​​is to restore the positive power of the word.

It is noteworthy that this dialogue includes 12 sessions that will last over a year, in which six Syrian personalities and another six Latin American personalities will participate.
