Syrian Boxer Ahmad Ghoson qualifies for the Round of 16 of the World Championship 

The Syrian boxing player Ahmad Ghoson has qualified for the round of 16 of the World Boxing Championship being held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. 

Ghoson qualified for the next round of the championship after a strong match in the round of 32, in which he defeated the Chinese boxer Taipi with points, in the competition of weight 75 kg. 

Ghoson joined his team mate and brother in the national team Alaa Ghoson who reserved his seat in the 16 round after earlierly defeating the Romanian boxer Emmanuel Mikan by a knockout in the round of 32 in the competition of weight 92 kg. 

As for the Syrian boxer Muhammad Melis, he lost in the round of 16 against the boxer of Kazakhstan Kamishbek with points in the over 92 kg category. Melis qualified to this round after defeating the Congolese champion.
