Syrian Book Month Exhibition opens in Aleppo

Aleppo (ST): The Syrian Book Month exhibition, held by the Syrian General Authority for Books, opened at the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Azizia, Aleppo.

The exhibition, which is held in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture, and will continue until the fifteenth of next June includes about 500 diverse titles in the fields of literature, thought, politics, history, theater and others.

The director of culture in Aleppo Jaber al-Sajour explained in a statement to SANA news reporter that the exhibits are the result of many years of cultural and literary movement, in addition to books translated from international languages into Arabic.

He added that this great diversity adds meaningful intellectual and cultural values, pointing out that some 1000 titles are expected to be added to the exhibition.
