Minsk (ST): The Syrian Ambassador to Belarus, Muhammad al-Omrani, discussed with Nadezhda Gennadavina, the director of the Belarusian Child Care Center (Zubronak Recreational Health Camp), the ongoing preparations for the camps that will be set up in the camp during the coming months for more than 225 Syrian children.
Al-Omrani expressed the appreciation of the Syrian side for the Belarusian humanitarian initiative, and for all the efforts that have been made and are still being made to make the health and recreational camps a success for Syrian children who have suffered during the past years from the terrorist war, economic sanctions and unjust coercive measures against Syria, as well as from the catastrophic effects of the earthquake that struck Syria on the sixth of last February. .
He stressed that these camps reflect the strong friendship relations between Belarus and Syria, which is ready to take all necessary preparations and measures in order to make the camps a success this year because of their positive effects on the cognitive and cultural development of Syrian children, as well as strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
For her part, Gennadievna confirmed that her country continues to receive Syrian children in these camps, and to surround them with all the care and attention with love and happiness.
