Syrian athlete Ali Mohammad wins gold medal in the 2023 Youth World Weightlifting Championships in Albania

Syrian athlete Ali Mohammad won a gold medal for Syria in the 2023 Youth World Weightlifting Championships being held in the Albanian Capital Tirana.

The Syrian weightlifter won the medal in the above 102 weight snatch competitions in which he lifted 147 kg.

On March 29th, the Syrian national team player, weightlifter Ahmed Al-Shamaa, won a bronze medal for the 89 kg weight competition in the World Weightlifting Championship for the youth category under 17 years.
