Syrian army eliminates ISIS terrorists in Badia region, destroys seven drones in Lattakia and Aleppo countryside
Clashes between Syrian Arab Army units and a terrorist group in the Syrian Badia resulted in the elimination and injury of members of this group.
The Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that during a combing operation in the Syrian desert area, an army unit clashed with members of an ISIS-affiliated terrorist group, eliminating several terrorists and injuring others.
The ministry also said that in another operation, the Syrian border guard forces managed to confiscate a huge quantity of narcotics near the Syrian-Jordanian borders and arrested two traffickers who were trying to smuggle the narcotics.
The ministry also said that the army units, deployed in the countryside of Aleppo and Lattakia, shot down seven drones launched by terrorist organizations with the aim of attacking civilians and army positions.
