Syrian armed forces confront a terrorist attack in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo

Aleppo and Idlib , (ST) – Units of the Syrian Arab Army operating in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo responded to an attack launched by terrorist groups.

A military source said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday that units of the Syrian Arab Army operating in the direction of Kafr Nubl in the southern countryside of Idlib confronted a violent attack launched by terrorists’ group yesterday evening at Iftar time amid intensive rocket fire on the army military points.

The source added: Units of our armed forces were able to thwart the attack, causing dozens of deaths and injuries among the attacking terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.

The source continued: A unit of our armed forces also responded to a terrorist group’s attack on one of our military points in the northern countryside of Aleppo, leaving the group’s members dead and wounded. The army also arrested one of the terrorists.
