Syrian and Iraqi Ministries of Water Resources sign minutes of a meeting to enhance cooperation and joint work

The Iraqi and Syrian Ministries  of Water Resources signed the minutes of the meeting, which was discussed by both sides with the aim of enhancing cooperation and joint work in the field of water resources, management, planning and studies to reach the best coordination between the two countries and to ensure that they obtain a fair and equitable share of the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Which constitute the lifeline of Syria and Iraq.

The Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, said in a statement that this minutes of meeting shows the extent of complete conformity in the positions, visions, plans and programs that are being worked on between the two sides, with the necessity of implementing the agreements previously signed between them.
