Abu Dhabi (ST): Syria’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, inaugurated a solo art exhibition by Syrian artist Ayman Fedda Radwan, highlighting the catastrophe of the recent earthquake that hit Syria.
The art exhibition, which was held under the title “Faces”, will continue until the twentieth of next month.It includes 27 oil paintings.
Artist Radwan pointed out in a statement that he was working before the earthquake on this exhibition with Salwa Zidan Gallery, and then he wanted to send a message by allocating part of the proceeds from the exhibition to those affected by the earthquake, confirming his willingness to donate some of his paintings for the same purpose, along with a group of plastic artists who will coordinate with the head of the mission, Ambassador Abbas, for this purpose.
The official opening of the exhibition was attended by a group of ambassadors and diplomats from friendly embassies, well-known artistic personalities and others interested in art and supporting humanitarian and relief efforts.
It is noteworthy that Radwan was born in the city of Sweida, and he is considered one of the most prolific artists of his generation in production and exhibition, as he held many solo exhibitions in addition to his participation in group exhibitions.
