Syrian Ambassador in Tunis: Syria has been exposed to a heinous western campaign to undermine its key role

The Syrian Ambassador to Tunisia Muhammad Muhammad has stressed that Syria has for many years been exposed to a heinous western campaign that aimed at weakening the country and undermine its pivotal role in the region.

During a meeting with a number of representatives of Tunisian media outlets, Muhammad said that the media in the western countries that participated in the conspiracy against Syria has played a destructive and bloody role that led to shedding the blood of the Syrians and destroying the capabilities and infrastructure built by the Syrian people over the past decades.

A big part of this heinous campaign, which targeted Syria, has been a systematic propaganda supported by massive financial and logistic capabilities, the ambassador added.

He reiterated that the Syrian media has confronted this propaganda and succeeded in exposing its allegations and refute its fabrications.
