The Syrian Airlines has announced the resumption of its flights to Al-Najaf International Airport in Iraq at a rate of two flights per week.
Commercial Director at the Syrian Airlines, Samer Koussa, noted in a statement to SANA reporter that resuming the operation of the Damascus-Al-Najaf line at a rate of two flights per week; Tuesday and Friday, came due to the increase in booking requests by travelers from both countries.
The decision contributes to alleviating the suffering of travelers and facilitates the arrival of Syrian expatriates to their country, in addition to alleviating the suffering of Iraqi travelers who seek to visit Syria for vacations and tourism, he added.
