Syrian swimmer Osama Trabulsi on Saturday won a gold medal in the 400m individual medley competition in the Czech International Swimming Championship. He ended the race in 4.32.79 minutes breaking his own previous record which is 4.39.18 minutes.
Earlier, Laith Laqmoush, the swimmer in the Syrian national swimming team, broke the Syrian record in the 100m backstroke competition, ending the race in 1.00.09 minutes. His win qualified him to the finals of the competition.
Moreover, the Syrian swimmer Omar Abbas won the bronze medal of the 100-freestyle competition in the Czech Swimming Championship ending the race in 51.82 seconds.
The swimmers Trabulsi and Abbas are members of the Syrian swimming team participating in this competition under the supervision of coach Mohammad Mardenly.
