Syria wins a new bronze medal in the Asian Chess Championship

The Syrian Chess player Mazen Fandi on Friday won a bronze medal in the boys’ under 10 category at the Asian Chess Championship which was held on December 12-22, 2023, in Al-Ain city in the United Arab Emirates.

The bronze medal came as Fandi won the third position after scoring 7 points out of nine.

Earlier, the Syrian Chess player Rami Talab won two bronze medals in the same championship in the boys’ under 10 category and blitz chess.
