Syria Trust for Development continues to provide relief aid to the families affected by the earthquake in Jableh

Latakia, (ST) – Syria Trust for Development continues to provide relief aid to the families affected by the earthquake, using the Cultural Center in the city of Jableh as a place for its relief activities in this area.

Yamen Mualla, a team leader in the Syrian Trust for Development in the city of Jableh, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the Syrian Trust is continuing to provide all basic supplies and services for those affected by the earthquake, including lighting, heating, meals, medicines, and other necessities. The Trust’s work is done in cooperation with various civil and local community institutions.

Mualla pointed out that the solutions currently provided by the Trust for Development are urgent. Data is collected on the number of affected people and families, in addition to the families who are with their relatives or friends in the countryside, through field visits to determine their needs and provide their basic supplies.

Suleiman Hassan, a master’s student in commerce and economics and a volunteer within the Syrian Trust for Development,  indicated that he put his car in the service of associations, organizations, or individuals who need it for free in order to transport what they need of home mattresses, food baskets and other things inside and outside the city.

His sister Zainab Hassan, a graduate of the Institute of Mechanics and Electricity, also volunteered within the staff of the Syrian Trust for Development in the cultural center in Jableh to participate in all the work and tasks that are required and needed by them at the current stage.
