The Annual Investment Meeting Congress 2024 (AIM) kicked off on Tuesday at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in United Arab Emirates (UAE) with participation of Syria.
The Syrian side was represented by Chargé d’Affairs at Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Minister Counselor Wael Ismail Al-Khalil and a delegation from Syrian business sector led by President of Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry Ghazwan Al-Masry, member of the board of the federation Anas Ma’touq, who is the Chairman of the Syrian-Emirati Business Council, as well as members of the business council Louy Nahlawi and Walid Hourieh.
On the 1st day of the meeting, The Syrian business delegation discussed with the federations of UAE chambers of Industry and Commerce means of boosting cooperation, investment and partnership in various economic fields.
Ghazwan Al-Masry stressed that the next stage in Syria proves that it is the best place for investments in all fields, due to its diverse resources and its central location in the heart of the world.
He underlined the importance of the UAE as a distinguished investment destination for international business.
He urged all companies to mobilize efforts as to play an effective role in investment in Syria and in the process of all-out development and reconstruction.
Activities of the 13 edition of the Annual Investment Meeting Congress 2024 (AIM) were opened Tuesday morning by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, under the slogan “Adapting to the Transformation of the Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials to Develop Economic Development Globally.” The activities will continue until May 9th with the participation of 145 countries.
The event provides many opportunities for investors, businessmen and investment companies from around the world to communicate and learn about specialized investment projects in various fields.
