Syria strongly condemns the Israeli massacre against a Syrian family in South Lebanon

Syria has strongly condemned the new Zionist massacre against a Syrian family in South Lebanon.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Saturday that the Israeli occupation committed a massacre against a Syrian family this morning by bombing the building where the family lives in south Lebanon, claiming the lives of at least ten Syrians and Lebanese, and wounding others.

‘’The voices of free forces in many countries and cities around the world, have demanded that the Zionist aggression be stopped, the massacres being committed in Palestine and outside it be stopped, and the perpetrators be punished. However, the leaders of the racist Zionist entity have increased their crimes and their defiance of the will of the peoples of the world.’’ The ministry said.

This crime is a flagrant violation of international charters and laws, a blatant crime against Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a threat to peace and security in the region, the ministry added.

“Syria reiterates its strong solidarity with Lebanon, its sympathy for the families of the victims, and its support for the brotherly Lebanese people against the aggression they are subjected to”, the ministry concluded.
