Syrian national tennis player Hazem Al-Naw qualified for the semi-finals of the third Arab Tennis Masters Tournament being held in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of 16 elite Arab players.
Al-Nou qualified after beating the first seed the Lebanese player Benjamin Hassan, in two sets to none, 7-6, 6-2, to meet in the semi-finals the Egyptian player Mohamed Safwat.
Al-Nou recently won second place in an International Championship held in the Spanish capital, Madrid, as part of the International Federation of Professional Players Championships.
